week 8 - band night

Went to Waterloo to check out a cover band that my sister and her manshape have in mind for their wedding (in 13 weeks time, squeee). Very nearly wore a very colourful shift dress, but changed mind at last minute and grabbed a cotton long tunic dress thing. Chucked on a wrap top, leggings and boots and looked in the mirror...

Obviously I owe you a better photo, blog. I will have to re-create the day at some point, minus the rum-busted knee and mushed up make up. (The band was good).

week 7 - KAOS

Took the boys to a kids disco at the local soft play - 'KAOS @ The Arc'. They loved the loud music and lights on the soft play, and bigger boy joined in with a lot of the dance competition/games.

And I frocked. Very girly dress for me - but boy assures me it matches one pair of my new frames (which he picked, think he's trying to pink-floral me up.. he may end up shopping for a new mummy at Laura Ashley)

Felt not at all in the mood for a dress today, but this worked, with the top being all t-shirty, I nearly forgot that I looked like a curtain.

I am very not sure - the more I look at it, the more I am worrying that it must be a nightdress? Must be less pink next week.

week 6 - rollergirls

Taking my bigger boy to his first Rollerderby bout tomorrow in London, so had to get my skates on to play today ^_^

Annoyed with myself as I've been not looking after my diet/fitness at all, and it really shows.

Got to get serious with the flab melting. In just a few frocks time there should be results!!

I may need to re-buy this dress in a smaller size for summer though, it makes me feel happy swishing about in it.

February already!

5th day of frockery. At the turn of midnight I was in London all frocked upafter going to see Band Of Horses at Brixton. Then after sleeping it off it was a quietish day running errands with the twins.
Clearing out the basement while wearing a dress always means I feel less slummy. A Good Thing.
